Membership Development Manager is responsible to grow, update & maintain members' base and ensure a successful delivery and continuous enhancement of membership services.
Reports to: CEO/Programs Manager

Tasks and responsibilities

Set an action plan on annual basis derived from the business plan and the strategic plan, and align action plans of the department with the macro level strategy
Implement and advance int@j members services portfolio
Maintaining a healthy budget of members services portfolio, and a healthy department budget including income and profit in coordination with int@j programs manager and financial department
Contribute & manage implementation of annual plans owned by membership services
Further grow int@j membership base and segments
Track and develop lists of new potential members based on the recent market scan, develop and maintain tracking sheets for current and potential members and their feedback/ input
Follow up and support membership team to achieve new members targets, visits to current members, collection of pending invoices of new & renewal membership, and any pending requests owned by team
Develop memberships through visits to potential members, and monitor membership renewals
Follow up and maintain a healthy relationship with members and potential members.
Build and maintain relations with supporting segments and partners who can add value to the community / members whether locally or regionally or internationally
Work with int@j Programs department to implement special programs & services for members
Develop, execute and monitor the delivery of membership services including events, conference, trainings, activities and other items as required.
Develop and work with PR on activities and interactions to promote int@j and its members & services.
Manage projects related to member's data, such as portal of intaj, corporate services integration and email system
Build and maintain relations with the press and advertizing agencies to ensure better visibility of int@j and its members
Responsible for the overall branding and packaging of membership development and services
Supervise all activities and actions related to membership department such as events management/production, marketing & PR, sponsorship, design and agenda formulation...etc, including management of department resources and their allocation
Participate in writing articles and supervise the final production of newsletters, press releases, cover stories and advertorials
Conduct and follow up on membership department events for members and support in other departments and int@j events.
Supervise & update all int@j visibility and PR channels & platforms, and develop and maintain organization corporate identity.
Develop, update, implement and monitor int@j marketing and PR strategy and align it with int@j organizational and business mandate and strategy
Administrate, maintain, update and develop any supporting systems used for members' relations and services delivery (CRM…)
Continuously follow the trends and changes related to the sub sector, stay up to date with regards to any new local entry under the sub sectors and build on it to develop and attract new members and services.
Present and attend in members events and other sector social and networking events locally, regionally and internationally
Participate in advocacy activities like position papers, lobbying etc. in coordination with the Programs department and advocacy department
Support Programs department in any publication, project or program that require interaction and follow up with members
Act as a liaison between certification programs officials and relevant beneficial members
