A Leading Telecom Operator is looking for well qualified candidates.
Main Objective :
Responsible of : Handling all the implementation and maintenance tasks for both BSS and Transmission equipment in the south region.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Provides day-to-day operations of assigned services, responding to facilities/services problems in an efficient and timely manner:
• Hardware Installation, Commissioning, testing and operation for BSS (2G & 3G) equipment,
• Hardware Installation, Commissioning, testing and operation for Transmission equipment,
• All actions related to fiber network such as survey, follow up installation, testing, accepting, and documentation for any new fiber route,
• Troubleshoots, upgrades, and administers multiple vendor systems,
• Installs, operates, administers, and performs maintenance of switching, data communications, and peripheral equipment associated within the mobile site (2G & 3G) equipment,
• Maintains accurate records with regard to installations, repairs, inspections of equipment and general preventive maintenance in a timely and organized manner,
• Routine maintenance and site inspection,
• Corrective maintenance for BSS (2G & 3G) site,
• Preventive maintenance and Audit for BSS (2G & 3G) sites,
• Solving BSS(2G & 3G), and transmission outages,
• Clearing BSS and Transmission alarms,
• Expansion of existing BSS (2G & 3G) sites,
• 24 hours duty responsibility,
• Perform all hardware needs/changes for proper RF optimization,
• Insure Proper spare parts availability and look after repair and return mechanism,
• Analyzing OMC-R stats and reporters for troubleshooting purposes,
• Troubleshoots, upgrades, and administers multiple vendor systems,
• Solving the transmission outages come from MW links, (Fiber Cable), and MUX's (Tellabs), (Huawei) within the acceptable time,
• Extracting links documents (Opposite, Band, Frequency, Capacity ..) from related data sheets,
• Equipment configuration for new and upgraded links,
• Dealing with test equipment's (E1 tester, Spectrum analyzer, OTDR, fiber test (optical source and power meter),
• Follow up fiber cuts with contractors, and with insurance procedures as well,
• Management, Connecting MW links to the NEC links management system (PNMS: Pasolink Network Management System),
• Performing frequency change & high low-violation upon MW planning request
• Be ready to handle additional responsibilities as and when needed by the department/division/business.
