• Training and/or facilitating training workshops for teachers, heads, ministry officials, parents, pupils, community members and NRC staff
• Pedagogical and administrative follow up
• Participate in induction training provided by NRC
• Liaise with MoE to elaborate training modules
• Evaluation and identification of gaps and training needs
• Train teachers in the utilization of participatory and inclusive teaching methodologies
• Be responsible in organizing all aspects of training sessions
• Elaborate beneficiaries selection criteria charts to be shared and agreed upon with the team and other relevant stakeholders
• Identify and update education indicators and monitor them in a structured and regular way
• Elaborate and utilize pedagogical tools (e.g. registers, performance appraisals, attendance lists, classroom observations etc.) in order to follow up project activities
• Organise and coordinate external trainings for education partners.
• Monitor and evaluate teachers in accordance with MoU and partners.
• Carry out regular training meetings with relevant stakeholders
• Carry out activities conforming to the existing working structure and in line with the NRC Code of Conduct
• Establish the training materials needs for each school
• Keep recorded track of training participants and sessions
• Elaborate weekly and monthly reports
• Utilize all tools provided by NRC in a respectful and correct way
• Inform the Project Coordinator about all kinds of problems, complaints or information useful for carrying out the project
• Represent NRC in official meetings and ceremonies in the work zone assigned when requested.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders operating in the area of intervention and ensure mutual respect for the local customs/cultures
• Other duties as assigned
