A Leading Telecom Operator is looking for well qualified candidates.
Main Objective :
Responsible of : Handling all the outdoor implementation, maintenance, and optimization tasks for both BSS and Transmission equipment in the south region.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Provides day-to-day operations of assigned services, responding to facilities/services problems in an efficient and timely manner:
• Installing the Indoor/Outdoor (2G/HSPA+) equipment and repeaters according to provided designs,
• Excellent documentation for the Customer Complaint cases and the Repeaters forms,
• Maintain the indoor/outdoor repeaters when needed and solving the faulty ones,
• Install and maintain/replace the UHF components Antennas, RF feeders, Steel Brackets and mounts for 2G and HSPA+ networks,
• Installing and operating the Mobile cars in a timely manner,
• Conduct site audit for all network (once per year as a minimum),
• Routine maintenance and site inspection,
• Corrective maintenance and solving outages for BSS site (2G & 3G) and transmission MW links,
• Expansion of existing BSS sites (2G & 3G),
• 24 hours duty responsibility,
• Site survey and LOS survey,
• Installation and alignment of microwave dishes,
• Supervision for the contractor work and insuring the highest quality of work,
• Installation and maintenance for micro-cell sites,
• Installation for indoor cabinets, including power cables and UHF feeders,
• Corrective & preventive maintenance for outdoor units,
• Design of antenna mounts,
• Checking store periodically for spare parts balance,
• Follow up fiber maintenance tasks,
• Follow up, accepting work from contractors for preventive work and tower maintenance,
• Check & Accept new / expansion sites,
• Check or install & Maintain obstruction light system,
• Fill site acceptance checklist,
• Reporting any vandalism issue,
• Solving owner complains,
• Check or maintain & Report any site problems to the concerned division,
• Check or Maintain & Report any tower problems, (steel galvanizing, fixing & torque)"
• Be ready to handle additional responsibilities as and when needed by the department/division/business.
