The Abdali Marketing Project Manager is in charge of defining and implementing Orange marketing strategy for the Abdali project. He has to quickly understand the specificities of this market niches deeply in order to make the most out of it, not losing track of the global Orange objectives in terms of brand image.
He reports to the Abdali Project Director.
-For each market (corporate, residential, hospitality, retail and wholesale), he segments it and uncovers its current dynamics
-He defines a whole portfolio of coherent offers for all markets of Abdali either tuning existing offers or launching completely new ones:
oCorporate: the most important market for Abdali. Existing offers need to be tuned so that they generate higher margins and attract more customers Kingdom wide, not only in Abdali
oResidential: the liberty is much higher, constrained only by coerency with the other offers (in particular wholesale) and standard ITN platforms
oHospitality: also an important market in Abdali. The strategy is to prove Orange capabilities in this respect in order to develop heavily this business (managed hospitality services) inside the Kingdom
oRetail: potentially a mass market in Abdali. Needs to be tackled leveraging the high capacity and high quality infrastructure in Abdali to generate high margins.
oWholesale: the tuning of these offers is extremely important for the coherency of the whole portfolio and the global profitability of the project
-He consolidates the marketing roadmap across all markets and ensures their coherency. He defines a transversal communication strategy and implements it.
-He is responsible for sourcing the video contents necessary to feed all market segments.
-He defines a sustainable way of animating the offers, inclding through targeted communication events and campaigns. This is particularly important for offers including content as it needs to be dynamically updated. Cost and the richness of the offers life cycle must be balanced.
-He reports to a weekly committee where his KPI and roadmap updates are presented
-He proposes and discusses the strategy with the steering committee. He clarifies this strategy for the project stakeholders at all times. He proposes potential new VAS or services that he identified.
-He ensures the commercial organization is in line with the marketing strategy and maintains a healthy discussion with the sales manager to optimize it.
-He ensures that Orange participation in Abdali is reinforcing its image as a market leader and innovator, not only in Abdali but in the whole Kingdom
