Senior Manager - Transaction Advisory Services - Valuations and Business Modelling - Ernst & Young | Jordan Jobs




As a Business Modelling Senior Manager, you'll lead modelling engagements, including the management of all financial and risk aspects of client engagements. You'll have an expert understanding of client expectations of models, the complexity/risk involved and the solutions appropriate to meet their requirements, as well as the ability to advise clients accordingly. You'll also advise clients on the appropriateness of Excel-based models versus alternative solutions for solving business issues. You'll be committed to business development and able to identify opportunities to deliver the best value, dealing with partners and client staff confidently and building credibility for the firm. Working as a role model for Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM), you'll make sure that project teams understand and comply with our Q&RM guidelines. You'll create, lead and motivate high-performing teams, help key staff to build sustainable competencies and actively promote the sharing of knowledge within the group.

Client responsibilities


► Manage engagements including all financial aspects
► Show good understanding of all solution areas in the business modelling team and develop
opportunities for selling wider modelling services both internally and externally
► Respond quickly to client requests for information or guidance, referring the issue to more
senior staff where appropriate
► Recognize opportunities to contribute to client issues when they arise and assist in providing
solutions
► Build effective working relationships with individuals, organizations, clients and Ernst & Young
teams
► Be actively involved in sales proposals to our target clients; attend and participate in sales
presentations
► Apply a basic range of Ernst & Young services and products in meeting clients' needs;
identify broader opportunities for Ernst & Young

People responsibilities


► Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching, mentoring and providing
feedback for all levels of staff
► Participate fully in the group's internal training programs
► Determine own learning and career development objectives, agree and manage own
development plan
► Contribute to the Ernst & Young knowledge database and specific knowledge sharing
initiatives
► Support recruitment activity for the team
