ROLE OBJECTIVES:
To be responsible for the successful design, development, implementation and evaluation of curricula and training kits to suit locally and regionally available skills. Also, manage training and kits production components.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement the action plan activities related to Curricula and Training of the entity in alignment with INJAZ annual objectives.
• Develop, manage "INJAZ Training Committee" (TC) and organize periodic meetings.
• Develop, manage "INJAZ Curricula Development Committee" (CDC) and organize periodic meetings.
• Direct and follow up on kits orders with INJAZ Arabia offices around the region.
• Design, localize and adapt curricula for INJAZ Arabia offices around the region.
• Design, localize and adapt new curricula to best meet the local and regional community need.
• Revise, assess and enhance the existing curricula such as adding local case studies and success stories that match the local community conditions.
• Assess and evaluate new curricula through collecting feedback and comments from INJAZ partners, volunteers and beneficiaries.
• Supervise and follow up on the purchasing and financial processes (including count sheets) for the required stationary or curricula for the kit assembly or production process.
• Orient training staff on the use of new curricula to assist them in the training process.
• Assess and evaluate training requirements of teachers and youth educators in order to design training material and modules.
• Identify, search and devise training material from different recourses for the use of INJAZ.
• Identify, search and review new teaching techniques and training modules that include participatory approaches, creative thinking and teamwork such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
• Plan, design and supervise volunteers' orientation training to guide and provide volunteers of new teaching techniques to best communicate INJAZ curricula.
• Form and activate a pool of trainers to be well utilized in various training programs.
• Participate in workshops abroad.
• Follow up and organize periodic meetings with Curricula Development Committee for comprehensive assessment to enhance current curricula, evaluate the potential impact of such adaption on quality and recommend changes.
• Conduct and participate in workshops, committees and conferences designed to promote intellectual and social welfare of students.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of the subordinates in the Curricula and Training Unit.
• Supervise to ensure the implementation of all related quality components.
• Document and keep records of the process of the curricula development in reference manual.
• Report timely and accurately on related activities to direct supervisor.
