seeking to recruit for the following position
PC's, Servers & Network Administrator
Main Duties
Administers main servers including Data Servers, Exchange Server and Proxy Server.
Supervises the safety and security of information and manage and organize access rights to the software and good use.
Leads the regular administration and maintenance of the LAN, e-mail system and archival back-up system.
Uses and maintains a "Help Desk, " knowledge base and inventory system.
Installs new software and computer equipment, including software and hardware upgrades to existing workstations.
Repairs or replaces malfunctioning computer equipment or software. .
Coordinates the temporary replacement of inoperable PC and network equipment.
Provides training to users on various software packages; reviews software packages to stay current on new developments and features.
Provides both face to face and telephone PC and network support to users and attend to all enquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
Provides follow-up and feedback to users regarding problems and resolutions.
liaises with end users to ensure application software is meeting requirements.
Identifies areas requiring improvements or that will benefit from new system technology and participate in implementing upgrades or solutions.
Assists in other IT related duties as required by Manager.
