1. Ensure that assigned bedrooms, corridors, and public areas and other areas are properly cleaned daily, inspect these areas daily and submit work orders to the Chief Engineer.
2. Ensure that all Senior Housekeepers continually inspect their assigned areas and turn in their room inspections.
3. Ensure that all reports prepared completely and on time.
4. Ensure that proper key controls are in effect.
5. Take an accurate guest supply inventory each period.
6. Ensure that all report is prepared completely and on time.
7. Ensure that all employees are hygienically clean and in clean, complete uniforms.
8. Ensure that productive and effective monthly department meeting are held and meeting minutes are published and directed.
9. Immediate response to all guest problems and correspondence.
10. Always be professional and ethical in dealings with guests, employees, vendors, and other departments.
11. Maintain division goals in relation to Accident Prevention, safety, Fire Prevention and employee awareness.
12. Ability to interview new employees effectively and evaluate employee's performance, encourage teamwork.
13. Ability to effectively schedule employee's time.
14. Ability to delegate responsibilities and establish priorities.
15. Promote Guest Response Program.
16. Promote the aggressive Hospitality Program.
17. Inspect four rooms daily.
18. Ensure that an effective and complete training program is in use and that all employees are well trained and re-trained as needed, to improve standards and productivity and to reduce employee turnover
19. Audit & approve schedules, wage projections, wage recaps, and payroll.
20. Ensure that Lost & Found articles are stored properly and that the correct logs are maintained.
21. Ensure that General Cleaning Program is in progress and follow up to achieve the highest cleanliness standards.
