The Project Officer is responsible for managing the Maintenance team tasks including:

• Supporting the Project Coordinator /or/ Senior Project Officer in planning and scheduling maintenance activities - including the decision which requests can be handled.
• Representing NRC when necessary in coordination meetings where the subject is the planning, development and maintenance of the camp (CCCM, site planning or Shelter/NFI meetings)
• Ensuring that all infrastructure is functional and well maintained and that repairs are done in a timely and equitable manner.
• Preparing all documentation and paperwork needed by the Project Coordinator /or/ Senior Project Officer (attendance sheets, daily monitoring sheets, incident reports etc)
• Preparing daily reports for NRC about type and location of repair/maintenance and which materials and man-hours have been used.
• If necessary prepare tenders and contracts for specialized contractors providing specific skills.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports analysing trends
• Liaising with counterparts from other organisations involved camp development and maintenance (especially UNHCR site planning) to ensure coordinated procedures.
• Responding to any security incidents by following strict NRC internal Security Management procedures and ensuring the safety of staff on site.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the Project Coordinator /or/ Senior Project Officer
