Controls and directs the Engineering Team to provide Concept, Detailed Engineering and Development Engineering services to the Division as part of Project Management Team. Team leader will be guided by the Company standards, specifications, codes and best practices.
The Teamleader will communicate with the clients directly, and any thired party such as the GAM, JEA and the civil defense to get the approvals on the drawings.
Typical work activities include:
- Preparing and presenting design proposals to the client.
-Leading Engineering teams.
-Checking all drawings and outputs
-communicate with the clients
-Communicate with the GAM, JEA and any third party
- Packages such as Auto Cad and SketchUp.
- Advising the client on the practicality of their project.
- Keeping within financial budgets and time deadlines.
- Producing detailed drawings.
- Preparing tender applications and presentations.
- Negotiating with contractors and other professionals.
- Preparing planning applications.
- Co-ordinating the work of contractors.
- Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed timescale.
- Solving problems that might occur during design and construction
