Project management to implement / deliver the logistics plan according to standard NRC practices and logistics procedures.
2. Plan delivery of goods and services on behalf of the operation following NRC standard practices and keep documentation to full audit trail standards, and where required provide advice / negotiate contracts required by the operation for goods and services.
3. Manage stock levels of commodities and ensure information regarding recorder levels and safety stock is provided to the Logistics Manager.
4. Plan, organize and support maintenance of distribution point storage, to NRC standards, providing timely stock reports to Logistics Manager and security to stores to keep losses to minimum.
5. Plan and organize the operational transportation requirements, including implementation / maintenance of transportation management system for NRC operated vehicles and assist Logistics Manager in planning best usage of vehicles.
6. Support, train and develop national staff capacity as an integral part of duties.
7. Liaise with international, government and non-government agencies and collaborate with them as appropriate.
8. Produce regular, timely and accurate narrative and financial reports for the NRC Logistics Manager
9. Responsible for and management of Working Advance required to support unforeseen daily operational requirements, and settle timely and accurate reporting.
10. Accountable to the Logistics Manager / Budget Holder for logistics expenditure at the hub, including responsibility in ensuring that expenditure charged to their cost centre of project in appropriately allocated and correctly stated.
11. Other tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager
